The Deer Hunter / The Elephant Man / Belle De Jour BR UK

Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the next wave of titles in the Studio Canal Collection. Exclusively on Blu-ray and arriving on 13th September 2010 are The Third Man, Delicatessen, Mulholland Drive, The Graduate, Le Cercle Rouge, The Pianist and Breathless.
The Third Man is a British cinematic icon from director Carol Reed, author Graham Greene. An undisputed all-time classic, the film features some of cinema’s most memorable set pieces -- the chase through the sewers, the enormous ferris wheel, the elm-lined cemetery -- and Anton Karas’ zither score, a worldwide phenomenon in itself. Winner of the Palme D’Or at Cannes and the Oscar for Best Cinematography.

In Mulholland Drive, David Lynch takes the viewer on a memorable neo-noir trip through Hollywood’s dark underbelly in a mystery that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality and features astonishing performances from Naomi Watts and Laura Elena Harring. In Hollywood Rita, a young woman, looses her memory after a car accident. She meets Betty, an Australian actress who just arrived in Los Angeles. With her help, Rita tries to find her memory, and identity, back.
